Cerbera's in classified
Discussion
Just been doing my daily check of the classifieds and noticed the two Cerbera's being sold by Dean/Glen. Now I know all about the rep and everything but how can they be selling one that 'appears' to be ready to drive for £7999 then sell another that is needing painting for £8850?
Both will have been insurance write offs so that can't be it.
Just seems strange to me.

I bought mine off glen and went in with my eyes open.
Checked it over and bought at the right price.
So had money in the kitty to make it just how I want it.
even the best motor will need something doing unless you go for the ones at 20k+
I'm with you and have said it before, he doesn't get to choose the quality of car that is damaged, he just had to work with what he's got. Checked it over and bought at the right price.

Just puzzles me the price difference for the two for sale just now.

Not necessarily. Check the thread on the exceptionally low mileage Speed Six, that was not a happy story.

Why not make Barry an offer on his cuurently-in-bits 4.2 and give him an incentive to reassemble it?
But not until he's finished with my car which he's getting next week
Last time I was up at Barry's I was looking at the chassis and engine sitting in the garage. Looked very tidy indeed. Not convinced he'd be up for selling if I'm honest and baby on the way is going to eat up my expendable income.
But not until he's finished with my car which he's getting next week

His grey Speed Six is nice too and I know he's open to offers on that one
It was a Cat D I think??? So he can't be looking for outrageous money for it.
FWIW I agree you ought to wait until the baby is here and settled in but I haven't noticed a cost impact at all really from my two, unless you're into fashion accessory £1000 buggies and designer clothes for them to puke over and smear chocolate on, which incidently doesn't make a child any happier
After you've established yourself as a dad I predict your finances will look similar to they do now
