Obviously there is Surface and Design but where else will do a lasting top and I really mean top job on a Rosso Red Pearl Cerb?

Feed back really being ask for here from people who have been amased when they get their car back after paint.

Martin i did a lot of research before having mine painted and all considered Surface & Design came out tops.
The standard of workmanship is second to none and the finished product speaks for itself.

Frank Smith from warks & west mids region had his chimaera resprayed in Rosso red pearl by S&D , it was on the classic car stand last near at the NEC. You could not pic any faults with it, Malcolm and the lads did a first class job. Frank told me that with the developments of paints and the after treatment waxes the color will stay for years to come without fade.

I've got the same colour. Currently saving up to get it done, but it'll probably be surface and design.

Wow the depth of colour in that photo just jumps off the screen at you, I think the decision is made unless someone can talk me out of it.

While I am at it I need to do something with my air boxes, I have the ACT back plates on order but the boxes are scruffy, car is Rosso, rocker covers are bright red, what colour for the air boxes to be painted?

I remember that Chimaera. Absolutely stunning and really showed up the paintwork on my car.

Concept performance, Sheffield. ex Raceproved sprayer, had my chim done and it was flawless, thinking
Of having the Cerb done, but just had a full engine rebuild. Brendan knows his stuff, the dark grey spectraflare
Sag was done by him.

I have seen a few TVR's that have been resprayed and have to agree that Frank Smith's Chim in Rosso Pearl which was done at Surface & Design is the best I have seen.

I've long been a supporter of S&D but after the job they did on my Griffith after my accident last year I can safely say it's better than new.

Faultless paint and I'm very picky.

Not seen your Griff yet but fortunately I have seen Franks Chimaera and all I can say is that it's the best, faultless paint job I have ever seen.

A credit to Frank and the S&D guys, mine is definitely going up there for her makeover.

Not the cheapest in town but as ever, the best bar none.

Regards
Simon

Have a word with Jason at Str8six...they are often going the S&D and maybe could offer you a good deal to take it up there on their trailer.

This is what I was thinking but if S&D really are this good that is where she will go.

I am in the process of having the gearbox rebuilt, the diff rebuilt and the engine rebuilt to a 4.7 with all new internals so the bodywork really should match the no expense spared approach that the mechanicals have been treated to.

Like the sound of that Mark.may I ask who is doing the 4.7?
