Resprays and paints....
Discussion
Chaps, looks like I'm almost in the fold.... just got to wait for the bank to faff with money, and then go pick up the new beast....
I was thinking that perhaps as I intend to keep this car for a couple of years, I might treat it to a respray. Sensible thought, that then went rather adrift as it occurred to me in the middle of the night that there's nothing stopping me from changing the colour completely!
So a couple of questions:
Any idea of the cost of a complete respray for a Cerbera? Recommendations of where to go? I'm just up the road from "Option1" who advertise in Sprint, and not a million miles from the TVR Bodyshop bunch down towards Bristol.
Having now thrown the cat among the pidgeons, I'm having issues settling on a paint - obviously I have to keep in mind that it has to be something to match the interior, and was thinking of one of these.
Rolex Blue
Cascade Blue (?)
Reflex Charcoal (all because of that thread - I'd never heard of it before!)
Is there anywhere I can write to for samples / pictures or whatever? Needless to say Blackpool have told me to get knotted, so I guess I'd need to go to a paint supplier or manufacturer?
TIA

www.rage-extreme.com do some of TVR's more fancy paints.
The cascade and reflex colours will make your eyes water though, hundreds of pounds a litre and you need quite a few litres...

Had mine repsrayed atWebbs (the tvr bodyshop near Bristol). Was recommended to me as I drive Rosso Pearl cerb - notoriously difficult to match - and therefore entire respray needed. Car looks absolutley mint and headlight conversion spotless. Would definitely recommend the guys there, although you may have a wait!

What Does it cost for a front end respray??(roughly)
Around £1000 depending how far they go up the wings...
Ouch. Paid £1k for the full front-end along with blended headlight conversion, and touching up a few other bits. Quote for front-end only was £600 or so.
