Cut off Switch - Have you? Would you?
Discussion
Hi,
Another busy month at work, and bad weather meant that my Cerb has been sat in the work car park for a month without being turned over - I tried it a week ago and just not enough juice in the battery to turn her over. Stupidly I left her for another week rather than taking the battery off to charge (no access for trickle chargers there). So it was in with the secret method and battery on charge. Despite having a new Red Top this isn't the first time I've had to do it this way, and one thing on the positive (no pun intended) side of those batteries is that you can remove them, just, without taking the air box off..
Anyway, it got me to thinking that if I know I'm going to leave her for some time maybe I install a battery cut off switch - I had one on my old Mini - see below.
Has anyone done anything similar, or can offer any suggestions? I don't really want to cut into the external bodywork, but I also do want to be able to get in the Cerb after a month and just turn the key and go.

I fitted this worked for me for the last 3 years until I got a trickle charger, ( I work away for weeks at a time)
