Headlight problems,speedo sensor

Morning all,
been searching around for threads on my latest problem.
Passenger side dip beam has stopped working, drivers side is ok, main beam both sides ok.
Have swapped the bulb to no effect and checked the control box in the boot but not really sure what to look for. Seems a bit strange only one side has stopped working.
Is it possible / safe to swap the main and dip wiring until I can get it sorted, barely ever use main beam.

Also, just had the speedo pack up and a new sensor fitted. Seems to read quite a bit different to before ie 3000 rpm in top now equates to about 82mph, I'm sure it was nearer 90 before. What mph/1000 are 4.5's geared for in 5th?

I think you are probably closer to the mark now than before.
If I remember right, my 4.2 reads around 24 miles/thousand rpm in 5th. It's fairly close to that up to about 4k then starts to go a bit off.

90 at 3k would give you way over 200 at the limiter if my maths is right.
