How tall is your child? I'm 5'3" and I fit into the back seat of a Cerb - not with a lot of space to spare, admittedly, but it's not uncomfortable.

My girlfriend fits in, even managed to fall asleep back there (that may have been the exhaust fumes knocking her out though)

Sorry, after Le Mans this year, the Cerbie IS a 2+2.

I sat in the back of Lake's Cerbie for the best part of five hours in total… and I'm 6'2" … the other rear seat passenger was 6'4" and the front was occupied by Tripps and Lake.

Admittedly there is a knack to getting comfortable, and I fell out of the car at the end, but once settled it's no worse than a lot of small cars.

I've used the Recaro Start which came with my car for our eldest and a Britax 1st class behind the passenger seat.

Behind the driver's seat there is unlikely to be space for a child seat, but children will fit. Peter Wheeler took his children down to Le Mans in his Cerb last year and they are around 10ish as I recall.

Could be a LOT to do with the car seat, my two struggle for leg room in all sorts of cars and its all down to booster seats and the shape that it makes their legs.
They don't bend in the right place basically so they look like Dennis Waterman in Little Britain.

OK I've read it twice more and I think I understand, but I started off with a vision of Tripps and Lake together in the front passenger seat

Depends on the height of the driver as much as the height of the back seat passenger. I'm about 6'1 and have the seat quite a long way back. My 7 yr old is already too cramped and has to sit behind mum. Not sure how long the 4 yr old will last (moaning already) but the Cerb days are definitely numbered....

I get my family in:

Me driving 5' 8''
Pam behind me 5' 4''
Ben in the front passenger seat 5' 11''
Sam behind him, with his knees wide and round the seat 5' 10''

Longest trip so far Sevenoaks to Cambridge and back

Exhaust hits the ground a lot, total weight is 47 stone and pam weighs 7 of those!

4 seats….. 2 in the front, and two in the back…

Drivers seat = Lake
Passenger seat = Tripps
Rear seat behind driver = me
Rear seat behind passenger = random bloke who I don't know and haven't met before or since…

With the front seat forward for my 5'4" wife, my eleven year old sat behind her and my 7 year old sat (admittedly quite cramped) behind me with the seat almost right back for my 6'frame. Compared to my previous 911s, the Cerbera is a generous 2+2 plus it has a proper boot with loads of room for a family weekend away unlike later 911s that have literally enough room for a sandwich under the bonnet. Fully loaded the Cerbera makes a whole load of new noises though and not just from the passengers either.

Is that because they're still on anaesthetic since you've just removed their legs?
