At least try to use the equivalent parts list! (Lol)

From a Landrover 3.9 V8 petrol. not got any part numbers though and I think it costs around £150

Make sure it's not the main fuse first (located on top of the gearbox bell housing - most common fault)

I have one about 2 years old I just need to fix a new regulator, interested?

hi thanks for this, the alternator went a couple of days after the fuse was changed due to it blowing, gruffalo thanks for the offer but need to get it done before tuesday as i need to take drive the car up north.

if anyone knows what year land rover or part numbers please let me know

re you sure it is off a P38, mine had a 140 amp alternater IIRC, far too much drain on one of those for 100amp to cope, heated seats, front and back screens and the rest.

Sure the part no is right p38? I know you can get 100-120 amp versions
