Hi all,my 4.2 has pitting/wear on one of the exhaust cam lobes,it still has it's original clatter cams fitted,what are your recommendations for replacement? Cheers Phil

hard to get hold of so I understand but stick with the same if you don't mind the noise.

I was thinking that, must be made from blanks, therefore isn't it feasible to say, a higher lift, longer duration cam, could be spec'd?

Why can't you take your originals to a engine shop, get them built up( hard chrome?) and have them reground?

An option, but I woukd have thought that hard chrome would wear out the followers rather rapidly !?!?
