I've got a bit of a shake when braking which I assume is either warped disc(s) or worn drag link bush(es). I'll check the bushes first but if I end up needing new discs what are my options. It's a late 2001 4.5 with 18" spiders and callipers like :

I assume these are CP6600 callipers and I could thus fit the Carbone Lorraine discs as per http://www.carbonelorrainebraking.co.uk/tvrbrakes.... ?
I see from another thread that several owners have used
http://www.reyland.co.uk/discs/
- does anyone sell the bells though?
Any other choices and which are the best?
Thanks

Don't forget there are things that can cause warped discs, or make a very mildly warped disc feel much worse such as: A siezed brake pad, partially siezed brake piston, or a siezed caliper slider on a single piston calliper.
All of these result in a brake that tends to stick on and overheat, slowly roasting the disc. also any wear in front suspension joints, track rod ends and wishbone bushes will amplify how it feels at the wheel.
I suppose what i'm trying to say is don't spend before you assess properly with a laser thermometer and a lift and look!

:-) ummmm I forget exactly what parts I bought but had the lovely joolz paint up some bells I sourced, he provided some spacers and he ordered and fitted some AP bigger discs. Do a search the details are on here somewhere.
It's nice to be shot of the rubbish tvr Tuscan s single piece items.
The result is much improved braking. I expect the brakes to last ages and to be trouble free. Brummie had a good offer on some single piece brakes that he had made.
I think racing green might have some options in their shop too.
I could have saved cash and just stuck some cheaper rotors on but I figured brakes aren't something to penny pinch over so go for the 'best' but I probably wouldn't notice the difference v's Brummies or the cheaper rotors.

oh and they are a lot lighter with bells so reduced un sprung weight which is a good thing!
