Just had my RL17s refurbed and the rear tyres are down to 2.5mm. The fronts are almost new and are Toyo Proxes Ti-R 235/45ZR/17/97Y.
The rears are currently Pirelli Rosso 245/45R/17/95W.

Should I fit the same Toyo Ti-R to the rear?
What size would be best do you think?

I don't do track days but like to 'make progress' on roads like the A68. driving
Thanks

T1R's are good, but they are no longer available,as for suitable replacements, it's a debatable subject currently, but it seems if you want a quality tyre then Continental or Good Year F1,s seem to be the ones to go for at the moment.

I use 255/40 R17 Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymmetric 2 on the rear of mine. I'm very happy with them. I have another set of RL7s which will likely get R888s or R1Rs or something similar. As waterproof tyres go, the Goodyears are great though.
