Whilst in the boot redoing the boot carpet, i had a look at the control boxes, i've looked at them briefly but never noticed the bodge that been done to three of the connector blocks. Which in four years i thought i would have noticed these.

This was the first one. which pretty much just come out of the connector pin.

the other one.

the last one

These are the only ones i have noticed on the car, having been over most of it in the past.

I re-terminated the one that fell apart, and have left the other two until i get new pins,as the joint looks okay for now. does any one know where i can get new pins so i can do the others

Can you not just resolder the wire and heatshrink the solder joint?

The leads are shortened any way, and whilst i could. I'd be happier with new pins terminated and soldered and heat shrink on the exposed joint.
