So the Cerbera has been sleeping in her lair since late November. Just walked out, took off the dust sheet, got in and pressed the starter. Fired on the first turn and immediatly idled as good as any eurobox. Quick run around my courtyard and the clutch and brakes are perfect.

Other than a full tank of fuel, increasing the tyre pressures to 45psi and leaving the handbrake off I took no other precausions leaving her 4 months.

Something similar here Puff, although I have changed the engine mounts and the radiator over the last 5 months while the car has been in the garage and cleaned and touched up the chassis. I started it on Saturday for the first time this year and it started and ticked over perfectly. On Sunday I spent the day washing polishing and waxing it and it has never been cleaner. I bought road tax yesterday and just need a dry day to give it it,s first run out of 2014.

Is it ok to drive the car while I am waiting on the road tax to arrive, l have paid for it and have an electronic reciept?.

In theory its fine to drive, just do not park anywhere where there are traffic wardens as they will ticket you for non display !! trust me i found out the hard way !!
