With delicacy and force in almost equal amounts. It will prize open eventually - i think i just used my hands or possibly a small screw driver - but mine was never quite the same when i put it back together again, so perhaps someone has a more proven method.

It is only held together with friction, no glue or screws. Inside (depending on the fob style itself) you may find two flat batteries, one on top of the other (double decker style) or one thicker battery.

Easy job with flathead screwy - Need a bit of elbow though. If you dont fancy it just go to local car audio guys or the like (not Halfords). They will be able to open fob in about 10secs. You will likely need 2 x CR1220 (i think thats the number). Just had to change mine last week. Would definitely recommend changing regularly as I found out the other day when alarm wouldn't stop going off and I couldn't get in the car for two days.

By the way, does anyone know where I can get a fob cloned apart from main dealer? I am in east london/essex area.
