So, being very clever, when the car went off for some engine work I removed the cap and tube that goes through Mk 1 F1 cover and placed it in a very safe place so the garage don't lose it.

I must have put it in a VERY safe place because now I cant find the farking thing!

Anyone know if its possible to get a replacement?

Do you mean the filler neck to the tube? Mine has a jubilee clip you have to access under the cover from below bit of a pain if it's on a ramp it quite simple.

I did actually wonder if I could go get some tube from a plumbing chop, as long as a cap will glue to it and then job jobbed (I love a bodge smile )
