Is it possible that my Accumate charger is draining my battery as opposed to charging it? Anyone had any experience of these?

My Cerb was away for 2 weeks and started fine everytime. It was put in the garage a week ago and connected to the Accumate as I wasn't planning on driving it for a week or so. I come to start it yesterday and the battery barely has enough power to open the door and won't crank the starter. The battery was new at the beginning of March

Silly question, but got to start with the basics

Did you turn it on?

As above, also does it show fully charged after a few days ??

Mine always used to and then when the battery died showed that it was still charging even after being hooked up for a week or two ?

It is switched on and showing that it's charging the battery as opposed to the battery being fully charged. I've just checked all the connections and the wiring on the plug on the extension cable was loose. I've fixed it and it seems to be charging ok now. I suppose thIs could've been the issue but I'm not sure that would've drained the battery in a week

I'll leave it a couple of days and see if it's charged the battery. Fingers crossed

Wiggycerb - yes it's now, after a couple of days, showing fully charged but not enough juice to crank the starter. Does that suggest the Accumate has had it?

When jump starting the Cerbera with a battery booster pack, where is the best place to get an earth? Would it be OK to get it from where the arrow is pointing in the below pic? (BTW that's not mine, I lifted off 'tinternet)

Thanks
