Since getting my project 4.5 Cerbera back on the road I have used it for every journey I can so far, big or small. It is supposed to be a daily driver after all so I try to drive it every day.

A guy in the pub I was talking to about my car asked me "Aren't you worried about it getting damaged if you use it as a daily when you have to park on supermarkets and shopping centres?"

Me: "No, you can't worry about things like that - just drive it and enjoy it!"....yeah right.

I had to have a laugh at myself when I was walking back to my car from an eye test. I couldn't have parked any further from another car (or the shopping centre) if I tried. I am such a hypocrite.

I suppose parking it upside down would make it difficult to park next to. wink

Nothing more annoying though, than parking in the middle of nowhere away from everyone, and some tt still parks right next to you..

I know what you mean - that white transit van wasn't there when I parked otherwise I would have gone home. silly

I do this with all my cars. I wish I could drive something I didn't care about, but I'm hard-wired to care about bodywork. It's a disability I'm telling you...

.... and I have three of my four corners damaged (and the front and back) to prove your bar-time philosopher correct.
(but that is mainly down to the fact that I'm a crap driver hehe)

After parking at a supermarket the other day to pickup some milk, parked for 5mins the transit van who was parked next to me when I left wasn't there when I returned but a 2ft key mark down the door was. Most admire but there are some malicious idiots out there too, so be careful where you park.

The other week I was parked well out of the way of everyone in my daily.. Car pulls up next to me, chap gets out and bashes his door against my car.. Whilst I was actually sat in it! That is why I park away from everyone and get so pissed that people then park next to me.
