Just noticed that the coolant temp sensor that screws into the steel pipes is leaking. I have replaced these with ACT ones, but was so long ago I may have forgot a washer, does someone know if there should be one or is it a case of plenty of ptfe tape?

Thanks

Steve

It's not the sensor for the ecu but the one that has the wire which I think runs to the gauge in the car.

Thanks

From memory, it's a tapered thread on the capillary sender.

A small amount of PTFE should sort it.

What about a small amount of blue hylomar? Not too much though so that it doesn't get into the coolant and block a gallery

May work smile
