Really daft question (why do I always seem to be the one to ask them!?!)

What does it look like under your Cerbs bonnet? My 1996 4.2 looks like a reject from Brunels shipyard - a mess of mini struts and girders across the engine. Some Cerbs I've seen have had great colour-coded pipe arrangements across the top of the block, which look most impressive!

What's the difference?

The ones with the purple pipes are 4.5s. The general feeling is that the 4.2 intake system is superior

Interesting - I'd figured it was a 4.5 vs 4.2 thing, but I lifted the bonnet on a 1998 4.5 at a dealer a couple of weeks ago, and it looked identical to my 4.2.... only cleaner!

Mine purples pipes are all squished down (for want of a technical term!) and don't look so pretty, has anyone got this problem?
