Spacers, restrictors and 18" Spiders....
Discussion
....probably should ask Jools, but the God of Cerbera seems so busy these days, I hate to drag him from under the car ramp!
Anyway...having just aquired 4 x 18" spiders..all Tuscan fronts...and with Vicky from Joospeed sending me the steering rack restrictors, can anyone tell me the 'easisest' way to fit these restrictors to the rack?...also does anyone know if wheel spacers are needed, or should the wheels go straight on?
Muchos thank u's....

Hi paddy.
Nope I have tuscan 18 fronts on the front and rears on the rear. Need more grip than you on the rear obviously
. tuscan fronts on the rear of the car look too weedy for me.
Mine had to have the rear arches thinned though. Not an expensive job. No spacers needed front or rear.
Only decision you need to make now is whether you want to put the bump stops on the front.

Have you fitted them yet? If so can we see a pic? If not will you have them fitted for Sunday's meet?
Dave...not yet!...waiting for steering rack 'restrictors' as I dont want to damage the rims by not fitting them...Jools had to order them for me...hoping they will arrive in time for Sunday!
Steering rack restrictors, you poof, I have two that I'm not using. Literally you could manufacture them from a piece of plastic and a pair of scissors.
Trust me you don't want them. I put them on my car and the turning circle was terrible. Its bad normally, but restrict it a bit more and the M25 starts to look like a tight circle
If you can't avoid hitting your rims without that to stop you, then you and your bood badge deserve each other.

No spacers needed to put em on.
I have the same combinatin and joo fitted the spacers for me, so i cant help there. Turning circle is s**t - bit not alot worse!!
Only problem i have is that the centre cap wont go on the rears due to the hub nut being to deep (a few mm of metal after the thread ends). Still not ground it off yet...
