24k service - where?

I'm in the South West about 50 miles down the M5 from Bristol.

My 4.5 needs a service, where to go?

The obvious choice is not an option, for no other reason than bad reports recently. Joospeed is too far away, what about Austec, Westover, anyone else?


Any help appreciated.

OK - I'm in Bristol... soooo...

Unless someone knows a good independant down this way you're stuck. Do not go local, if you see what I mean...

I use Fernhurst, as I know them and they're top guys...

Austec have a good rep. Joospeed obviously, but too far I guess... It's also worth looking at Topcats racing as when I dealt with them they were top guys and very knowledgable.

You could always book it in with Joo and get Nitrons at the same time to make it worth the trip.

or.... do what I did last year.
Book it into Austec, go on holiday for 10 days. Pick car up on return. They are only 5 minutes from Gatwick.

I use Horizon Motorsport (J3 off the M5)

David Gerald is now an official dealer, and seems to get some good press on here (I gather he's worcester J5 or J6)

I'd second Horizon. Mike the owner is an ex-Tuscan Challenge mechanic, and knows the AJPs inside out, plus the other main engineer Kevin is ex of Team Central, and likewise knows his stuff. Very competive pricing.

I would have to dissuade you from the other new "main" dealer mentioned, though I shan't go into details....
