VIBRATION FELT THROUGH THE CAR AT 80+MPH...?

I have noticed a vibration that is felt through the car at over 80 mph.Engine and gearbox fully rebuilt and propshaft balanced with new joints ,checked brakes- perfect disks , new pads -no vibration when braking.Has anyone any ideas what it might be. ??. I am thinking about four wheel alignment next. Andy at APM test drove it after reconditioning the engine and said it felt a bit skittish to drive.Wheels are 18 inch spiders ,toyo tyres. Thanks

I've had the same thing.... Turned out to be a slightly bent spider.

I had them re balanced at my local tyre shop but it made no difference , so I ended up getting a complete new set and the problem was solved

Still running in so cant go much faster to see if it gets better or worse

Had them balanced at a good garage I know well ; he said 1 wheel was slightly bent , but balanced up good????. How bad do they have to be?.

Check the big top hat bush on your front drag struts. If they are worn it can cause all sorts of odd vibration and handling.

Has this "Just" started or a gradual thing?
reason I ask I had a similar thing & it was a prop bearing/bush ?

I would go with Bent spider, i have the same issue and all bushed etc fine TVRSW checked on a recent service.

Will be getting it straightened ASAP.

Don't often do this speed very often , I think it just came on .Joolz commented on how smooth the car drives up to this speed though.
