Being new to the Cerbera steering wheel button things and with the dark nights I find myself wiping wind screen when flashing and flashing and horning when wanting to wipe screen etc etc

So has anyone done a mod where the buttons could be back lit so one can see which button does what ?

I'm sure over time I'll get used to the buttons but surely a back-lit thingy couldn't be too hard - or am I asking too much ?

You could paint the outline in flourescent paint??

You get used to it after a while, I was the same when I started.
I now find myself flicking the wipers instead of the indicators when I jump in my girlfriends car.

It does get confusing when on roundabouts and/or lanes where the wheel is at half turn (upside down) and you want to wipe the screen - even in daylight!

Getting a light source to the buttons wouldn't be too difficult, fibre optics would be the ideal thing.......although don't know how long the fibres would last being constantly twisted back and forth

Making the markings on the buttons translucent would be tricky though.

I`ve got used to the cerbera set up now, but keep dazzlng oncoming traffic whilst furiously prodding the Jeep horn push!!

Does anyone find the instrument lights annoying ?

On the run back from Exeter last week, with road grime rapidly depleating the already poor headlights, the dash lights were really inttrusive.
