Professionally refurbished by http://www.godspeedbrakes.co.uk/ (who I cant recommend highly enough!) then painted by myself in high temp gold. Hopefully not too chavvy!

Thanks for the replies. Next question is what colour should i go for. The car is Reflex Purple. I'm thinking blue to match the new short induction/silicone hoses that are going on, although yellow gold to me also look good. Thoughts please????

Managed to do mine a few times by hand pretty neatly. Just take your time and keep a steady hand.

Blue, good choice wink

Halfords "engine paint" photo is back in 2012. Not a big fan of Halfords and didn't set out to have them blue but it was Sunday afternoon, wanted to get then done so dry to fit Monday and blue was the best choice of what they had available.

Not looking so good now, well due for another coat.

Did them on my 130i a few years back using some basic heat resistant stuff from Halfords, it still looks fine and much better than before!

Hubs in silver, calipers in black - not looking to make any statement on these little things.
