Well guys having owned a Cerb for two weeks, its now immobile, see my previous posting!
This is, as you can imagine, somewhat annoying.
And as I'm in Ireland it's not a matter of popping down to my local dealer, as there aren't any.
So I think I'm going to have to diagnose the fault myself, with the help of The Collective of course.
It would be a great help if I could get the ECU software, so I can see what it says is wrong.
So can anyone tell me where I can get this?

You'll need a laptop and a made up lead with 2 RS232 connectors.

I'll try and dig the info out for you.

lookin threw the forums i have gatherd that the rs lead can dammage and a 3 wire one with resistars should be used but cant get the dia to come up on my computer.could this be clarified please. also could any one please tell me where to get a coppy of the soft were from,as i wood like to check a fault on mine before i buy new lumba sensors and kill them.

I, and many others, just use a bog standard serial cable without any problems.

hello julian,jules& co.
im having trouble with burning too mutch fuel and hesitation under 2300rpm,
and would like some help with ecu diagnostics ,pacificaly fault finding,
i wanted to test the sensors at the ecu plug with a meter but didnt have the values or pin id, but i gather julian may have this info from his amusing thread about interigating a brain.
but also gather it is available from the ecu ,biff has offred to do the onners if i get a lead,(got rs 232 off ebay)but dont want too trail her to shaftoes& risk his laptop.
i have a fault code reader & mot gas analasis eqpt but no pods or settings
so iff i could get my grubby little paws on software &corect cable, i might be able to get too meet some of you on sunday .i would be eternaly greatfull
for all your support.

many many thanks guys,im going to have a play round tday,
qwik question,dose any one know if the lambda sensors range from 0 to 1v or 0 to 5v? need to get them b 4 noon with the rest of the shopping, and are they titaniam 12mm thread,?

hi chaps,i didnt make it to the comfort of the workshop this morning as ive spent the day running around replacing greenhouse windows,&boarding my nanas window before a visit to b&q for cement to replace a dozen ridge tyles,just got off the roof and my friend phoned so ive got to go back out to sort his chimney
so unfortunatley the cars not going to get looked at till monday now.ill keep you all informed, thanks again

yeah right,ta,
thaught i couldnt un peel em if i was outa mi tree (without brain pluged in).
had a intresting reed in early hrs with the help from a friend(as im a computer duffa i didnt know how to download software) who showed me witch files i could reed + how to acess them.
thanks for the pointers,guess id better open a bar tab .
