TVR's In Norfolk??????
Discussion
Im looking to buy a Cerbera 4.5 99/00 ish in the new year, my concerns living in North Norfolk are that I never see any about on the roads round here and wondered if there are any, where will i need to go in Norfolk to get the 'beast' serviced and repaired, or is it a case of a good general mechanic would be able to do the job, or do i need to go to a specialised garage, please let me know of any garages in Norfolk that could help and any other advice on purchasing a Cerbera would be greatly appreciated.
I live in Ely so possibly not that far from you. The local garage is offord www.offord.com/ but there are some who feel traveling further afield is worth it. The Cerb "God" seems to be www.joospeed.co.uk/Default.asp Since, like most owners, I only do ~6k a year I am contemplating taking ut up to him for my next service. Besides its a good excuse to give it a good run.
Good luck!
NB - No, even the best general mechanic will be lost on a Cerb - your local priest has a better chance of keeping it on the road!

I have a 98 4.5 and live in Lowestoft. Took my car to a well known `Localish` indy for a service when I first got it, and came away less than happy!!!
There is no good reason why a competent mechanic can`t service/maintain a Cerbera, (there not rocket science) many owners on this forum do so. I recently replaced the clutch, hydraulics, throttle pots & set it up on a laptop.
Get a properly sorted car and you will save a lot of hassle, but expect niggles!
NB. I used to be a mechanic - which helps
