Hi guys, just a quickie, i have searched the forums and cannot find what i am looking for.

My motor is up with joo at the moment and i wanna order some new rears cos 1 is more or less a slick and the other is quite new.

Can someone with the 17" alloys just quickly confirm what the rear size is again.

I think its a 255/40/17, just want to be sure before ordering a pair of T1-S's!!

Cheers guys.

PS - New Diff in my 4.5, and not going for the Hydratrak one either!!!

Hi Jason,

If you are buying tyres, isn't this the excuse you need to upgrade to the 18" alloys too.

A couple of Tuscan racers I know had their diffs without hydratraks as they recon'd it made the car more fun.

Fronts are 235/40/17 and rears are 255/40/17

Just put 4 on mine. Goodyear eagles F1's, balanced etc... £427.

cant afford it right now mate, joo's had to put a new clutch in, service it, fault find and came up with the diff, replace the diff mount..... so gonna keep the 17's for now mate!!

its debatable if moving to 18" spiders is an upgrade. Stick with the original 17"

Just had a quote for new wheels and tyres from Dream Machines, they have quoted 245/40/17 for the rears.

On the positive, Insrance co. have agreed to pay £2k for the wheels and tyres nicked from my garage, which should pay for a respray and new clutch!
