Was thinking of having my calipers coated yellow with a black car should look good

So what are the rules for caliper painting don't want to upset any purists

Done my own on the Hsv which looked pretty good

Having the same dilemma. Current doing a full refurbishment an have the calipers in a flat black base coat for now. Options for me so far are

Flat black, red highlights on ap and tvr logo

Flat black , silver highlights

Red, black highlights

Red , silver highlights

May just paint them in each combo and the see which one I like most.

Indeed, after you've stripped the brakes you might find you want new braided lines, the brake master cylinder repainted and who knows what next... ? A project in pieces on the drive/garage as you dig further and further.

Enjoy her until next winter, don't let the summer go by wishing you hadn't decided to paint the calipers smile

(Of course mileage may vary)

Wow, that all looks so clean, I'm jealous. Nice outrigger protectors too.

I have black with yellow TVR on a red car and love the subtleness of them. Sometime the red can look a little nova'dose to me. Obviously just an opinion.
