Dash lens removal help
Discussion
The speedo and rev counter can be removed from the dash, but the lenses are under the aluminium front bezel which is swaged on. They are not removable unless you have the means to bend the swage on the bezel enough to take it off the front of the instrument and then roll it back in place without damaging it (too much). The lenses are not deigned to be removable.
To remove the instruments first remove the lower scuttle by undoing a wing nut where it meets the right hand side of the drivers footwell and one nut just where it meets the centre console on the left. You then remove the top pod by undoing 2 wing nuts underneath the dash and lift it off. You can then remove one screw from each side of the instrument panel which should give you enough room to undo the wiring to the back of the instruments and 2 nuts on the back of each to remove the clamps that hold them into the panel.
WARNING The water temperature gauge has a capillary tube that goes through into the engine compartment. The capillary is fragile and if you damage it while rummaging about you will wreck the gauge.

Whats up with your dials then ?? if they are cloudy you could try carfully cleaning with Brasso this works well on clear plastics and doesnt scratch.
