Cerbera Body Off Tick List?...

OK, I expect to get flamed for this, but does anyone know of a thread that takes you step by step through taking body off. I have tried searching, honest, but I give up with the search option on here.

I have seen markh1's thread which is useful and a couple of others.

I have already done my Chimaera so know pretty much what to expect (although I do have a cr4p memory).

I used this guide too, and it was very useful. But (as expected) my car differed in some areas.

The length of the list depends on how much needs to be replaced and how much you want to replace!


I thought I would just do the minimum and just sort the things that had to be done but ended up doing literally everything on the chassis apart from the steering rack internals.

So new hand brake cable long and short, New hard lines, New flexi lines, New bleed nipples, seals and all new pistons,fuel pump rubber mounts, engine mounts, diff mounts were done by me not long before I took it apart, all new ball joints,drop links and rose joints,exhaust rubbers, New bolts, nuts & washers, rear adjusters, New bushes (not poly), nylon spacer washers , New lower front arms ( old ones were rusted and one had cracked!) Eveything plated, powder coated or painted, cv joints,upgraded boots, fuel lines will be renewed hard and soft, New heat shield chassis and body, New silicone hoses, s/s coolant pipes, all new fluids, and the list will continue....
