Well, I'm sure a lot of you have read the posts on my Cerb and the trials and tribulations of buying and running an early Cerbera.
However, after the first few months with the car, which were annoying to say the least, and spending a small fortune on sorting it out, I'm about to hit a milestone. A small milestone granted, but a milestone none the less.
My Cerb is going in for its 42,000 mile service a week today, and since the last service 6000 miles ago, it hasn't cost me anything beyond petrol and a bit of oil.
6000 miles without a problem, I never thought i'd see the day
What does this prove? No idea. Maybe that early Cerbs aren't unreliable if you look after them (unlike the previous owner), maybe that if you are willing to invest the time and money you can make any Cerb reliable, maybe that it's too early to tell after only 6000 trouble free miles and I should shut up.
Anyway, enough of this fate tempting...
