Noise

I know this probably is going to make me look like I shouldn't have bought a TVR, but here it goes. When doing boring motorway miles, I often like talking to the family (i.e wife a kid). I have noticed the noise levels in the car are very similar to my old Beemer Convertible, i.e. you need to talk very loudly! Now, obviously I don't want to stop listening to the glorious engine, and I always open the window for that anyway, but has anyone reduced the cabin noise (i.e tyre rumble wind noise) using dynamat etc?

Most of the wind noise is from the door mirrors and the small gap between them and the window/door.?

You should compare riding in a Cerb on a motor way with a Griff or Chim. The Cerb is positively library-like in comparison!

dont spose they are looking aftermarket non lotus models though.

I must say mines decatted with sports pipes and with the windows up driving "Normally" I dont find it too loud ... eve with Mcfly Busted or the gameboys going!

(not that I listen to Mcfly Busted or lay the gameboy while Im drivingthe twisty Bits!!)
