yep, going to do it. i'm looking at some cerbs from tvr dealers and private owners. looking at my finaces, i can stretch to a certain amount (and yes have the £3k emergency fund). the question i have, does VAT apply? do i have to reserve some money in my pot for the almighty tax man?

its been years since i bought a car and the last one was in america (seeing as i'm from there).

Naturally, service work as quoted by the supplier might be XYZ + VAT.

New and secondhand commercial vehicles are subject to VAT if bought from a dealer....(purchased privately from a non VAT registered individual is a different matter though!)..

No VAT won't be appliccable, but if you're importing it to the US, there may well be import duties and vehicle registration taxes to pay.....

if i could attach a pic to this i'd send it, but its black with the lightweight lights. i don't see a problem with yellow, think they look very nice, just not for me tho

Nah, DMs have got at least 2 yellow ones. In fact, everytime Ive looked on their website (not that often to be honest) they always seem to have a couple of yellow cerbs for sale. At this rate they're going to get known as yellow cerb specialists.
