Push the button you hear the fuel pump
And Really but nothing else as a last resort last night
Rolled her down the hill and bumped her
she fired up and I got it home safe and sound into the garage
Just checked the signal wire and there is no current
So before I start ripping her to pieces looking for a broken wire
any advice would be gratefully received

Just a guess, but did you check all your fuses and relays?

Which engine size? What signal wire are you talking about, the solenoid wire?
There is a 30amp fuse in the boot for the starter, or maybe the switch in the centre console has died...

Hi
Have you tried giving the immobilizer behind the helmet holder a Bang or try holding down the start button for up to 30 seconds.

I've checked for any damaged wire behind the Helmer
I will try hitting it tomorrow and holding the button down for longer
If all else fails i've considered wiring a temporarily
Signal wire to the battery

We could hear the relay in the boot clicking when the starter button pressed but starter did nothing.

The relay click seemed to work perfectly every time.

I don't know about the immobiliser but did suggest to check the solenoid wire for signal.

Next was to track signal wire to boot area and test for voltage there (to eliminate a broken wire)

Also was going to suggest a solenoid wire to batt positive to test starter. (Temp wire)

Many had a wiring mod done to the starter circuit. Mine had this done and now has an extra fuse up behind the dash on the passenger side which I believe is where most with the mod done have the extra fuse. Check up there and see if there is a blown fuse up there.

Mine has been doing this for a while Darren, doesn't do it very often though, all I do is press the stop button and then the start again. Would love to know why it does it though, but it's so intermittent that sorting it out may take me a while.

does it hot and cold start like you Kevin it's very intermittent
I've run a wire to the signal wire and the battery
As a backup been talking to the alarm immobiliser guy
At Burley house today and has told me how to bypass
The start on the immobiliser if this resolves the issue
I know I've got a fault with the immobiliser

When mine does it, I can still hear the fuel pump prime, I also hear the starter solenoid click, so it may not be the same problem thinking about it.

Exactly the same as mine Kevin
I've tested the signal wire to the starter motor
With the multimeter So it's either a damaged wire
Or could be a dry solder In the immobiliser
Or elsewhere😫 apparently the immobiliser
Cut power to the starter ECU fuel pump
And can fail on any one Circuit
I'll keep you posted once I know what it is

I've just remove the immobiliser from its protective casing
To find the internal rubber casing was perished
so can only imagine what the internal Look like
I've reinstalled it and done a temporary bypass
On the damaged circuit ( starter )
The immobilise it still working on fuel pump and ecu
The good news is she starts
( for security reasons I will not be putting Pacific's on the forum )
