Heads up

Trying to gauge interest in a Cerbera-only rolling day at Charlie's Surrey Rolling Road.

A chance for fellow Cerbera owners to meet, exchange stories of Ferarri-bashing and get their cars checked for output.

As has been discussed elsewhere I consider Charlie's rollers to closely replicate those of my local rollers at Noble Motorsport, so both Charlie and I will be on-hand to interpret your graphs if you like and give our views on whether you have a *good un* or whether you have one that's a bit less sparkling than it should be.

Sounds like a great opportunity to prove whether your car really is faster than your mates! and meet some like-minded Cerbera fans too.

Put your names forward people

Oooooh how I would luv a run down to Surrey.

When are you thinking? If it's a weekend make sure you've got the race dates on your calender otherwise I won't be able to make it

Race dates are weekends when where we're supposed to be at a race track somewhere. You should be mainly fixing stuff that I break, I'll be mainly trying to drive fast without breaking stuff

A calendar is wot you use to remind yourself where you're supposed to be. Calendars are best used prior to the date in question otherwise they only tell you waht you missed!!!!!

Would be interested to see what my more "used" engine is producing and how well it does it ...

at 53K miles how would it compare? ... by the way Im hoping for a fair few more before a rebuild ...

we shall see ...

Over all Im still new to the Cerb scene and dont push it to 100% so its all irrelevant anyway ... but it would be interesting!

Can we do some blue vs yellow testing while we're there, just to settle the argument once and for all?

Futie's old cerbera 4.2 had loadsa miles on it .. 50k or something and made over 350bhp. I'd say that sort of mileage is no detriment.

I'd be up for that. Had it down there recently and it was producing a measly 318bhp against the 337bhp of two other 4.5s.

It's in Top Cats at the moment being fettled and they're hopeful of releasing some of the potential

Feb 19th is currently earmarked for a PH day.

We could make use of that if it was convenient for everyone

Whoops I just posted this on the general forum:

That sounds like fun! It's not far from us & it would be interesting to see if it is down on power. It feels slower than it used to, but then that always seems to happen once you get used to a faster car...

Actually some days it seems much better than others - I guess the air pressure & temp have quiet an effect on such a big engine, that from what I've been reading on here & in PPC, would seem to have some breathing difficulties?
