Very Happy Cerb
Discussion
Got the Cerb back from Austec last night after a being in for various bits (Discs, pads,AVO's,Alignment,Sports 'Zorst
) Had a call from Mike at 2.30pm to say the car would be ready by the time I got there from Brighty. Arrived at 3.30pm to find that during the test drive for the 'zorst, general opinion was that she was running like "a bag 'o shite" and only firing fully on 6 and the other 2 were on 25-30% and Paul would not let me take her home in that condition. So I grabbed a some coffee and rolled some ciggies whilst the surgery began. Plugs were taken out and found to be completely sh****d, so new ones put it. No difference. Coil pack was then replaced. No difference. By this point there are now 3 heads down in the engine and the engine compression is being tested. Normal Compression. I am like an expectant Dad out the front of the workshop, pacing up and down smoking furiously, peering in to see that now 5 heads are working on the Cerb. All the injectors were then taken out, tested to find the back 2 were clogged,so they were given quick clean and then all back in. I then get the message from Mike "We have 8!" Bearing in mind it was now quarter to 7 and they've all worked on her solid for over 3 hours, goes to show they really CARE about the cars and know their onions.
wlt say BIG thanks to Paul, Mike and all the guys at Austec for exceeding my expectations. I now have a Very Happy Cerb.

Gassing Station | Cerbera | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff

Glad my delaying tactics saved you a wasted journey. They do work some jiggery pokety magic. MAybe they should be called "Mystec Racing"
