Spider rear center cap fittment.?

Im sure some of you have come across the problem of fitting the et42 spider wheels onto the rear of the Cerbera, in respect of the center cap not fitting back on.
This seems due to the driveshaft spindle pushing the cap off. Im guessing that's why the et33 wheels are fitted to the rears.
Other than grinding the spindle down, how have you got over this issue.?

Perfectly ok to remove material. Although a grinder may heat it up to much and melt the nylon in the nylock nut. Best hack sawing some threads off and dress with a file.
