Oh Bollox. On the M1 8.30 this morning, when bye bye 5th. No crunch. No Fuss. Checked thru the threads and looks like the circlip/gear cluster moved problem. Bit bloody annoyed as I only got her back Thursday night after what seemed an eternity but was in fact less than a week. Bright side of the weekend was I managed to get the bib turning up on my parents doorstep 6pm Saturday night 
after complaints from a mardy arsed neighbour about "illegal street racing cars just burning up and down the street" . All I did was turn her round at the end of the road a couple of times taking my cousins out for a little spin one by one. Hehehehe. And when they turned up I wasn't there anyway and my mum just said, "well it's a factory legal car". Now, why did I start to post, Oh yes. 
Best check the warranty......

If anyone wondering about buying is reading this or other threads, (there always have been a lot of "Should I, what if, do they" threads... its worth it imho. Still not sure whats up with mine, prepared for the worst, went in eyes wide open (meaning shut) but...
Providing you can afford a cerb (I think I can, just barely) nothing else touchest it or even comes close to the wow/fun factor, even if you trippled the purchase price.

Some say that the problem occurs in having to go through 5th to get into reverse.
We had ours fixed by what was then C.D.L. the Tuscan racing team. They machined the shaft (if you'll excuse the expression! ) and then put two circlips on it.
Apparently it's a standard fix by the Tuscan racing teams to the T5 box.
