Anyone know this one..

Does anyone know this car?
I'm going to pop up on Saturday (if its not sold) and I would welcome any advice from here.
At the bottom end of values, but great value if ok.

Thanks,
I viewed this car when I was looking for a TVR back in April. The guy who is selling this knows nothing about TVRs - he left it outside over the winter and when I went to see it, the carpet on the drivers side had been removed because water had got into it and swamped the carpet. When we went for the test drive he basically just started it up and then floored it without letting the engine warm up.
A number of electronic items on the car didn't work and the outriggers I could see from under the wheel arches looked pretty rusty. When I went to Fernhurst I mentioned this car and apparantly the owner tried to sell it to them but they wouldn't touch it.
..and the lady owner thing is a bit of a lie. As I understand it, it was her husband's car and she wrestled it off of him in the divorce. The car was in her name, that is all.
If you aren't too far away might be worth checking it out, I'm fairly sure you could get the price down if you were prepared to spend some money on it. It was a 90 mile trip for me so I left a little disappointed.

I recall you describing this car in another thread. A good example of the value of PH!A number of electronic items on the car didn't work and the outriggers I could see from under the wheel arches looked pretty rusty. I saw this advert and contacted the garage for the magazine review. The review was actually a thin 'edge of page' editorial and was in the January 2015 issue. As the review was carried out at the dealer, I guess it took place in December so I was put off by the fact it had been for sale for 6 months plus. The review also states the price at £20k, there is another advert I saw on the internet at £17k and now its £15k - these points all added together told a newbie like me to avoid.
Thanks - Matt
