0-60/100 times

Just curious as to whether the acclaimed 0-60 time is overstated by TVR, like the BHP figures? 
Could someone who really knew what they were doing, jump into a 4.5 and in the right conditions, achieve a 3.9 0-60?
Anyone care to speculate? Who'se been timed? And does Craig (Mr Nos) have any times either? SXS, what do you recon your car will do (in the right hands
) when finished?
All in the interests of pub talk
Equally, whats the stopping power of the cerb, with standard brakes, compared to... erm what might one compare them to?

0-60, I wont even bother with that one... (very subjective)
but the 0-100 (a real supercar is always measured by this).... standard you are looking at between 8 and 9.
After the project, there is an estimate flying around at the moment, in the 5 secs region for 0-100mph....
The 0-200 looks very interesting though... I can say it will definitely be below 15 secs... based on our calculations...
but all of this depends on how well we get the traction.... with slicks wont be a problem getting those figures, but with road tyres it will be a different story... we'll have to wait and see...

That can't be right, surely? <15 seconds to 200? Isn't that almost half that of the F1 and a good 10 seconds less than other 1000hp cars?
The only sub-15 second car I could find was the Porsche 917 - http://home.earthlink.net/~chrisbnelson/nature/cars/917/porsche917.htm
That's some performance, surely a Cerbera couldn't compete with that?

I've heard from various sources (APM, Austec etc.) that the performace figures are spot on, just the bhp it fiddled with for marketing purposes against scoobies, evos etc.
Regarding brakes, after OnlyMe and RossoRebel, they were a distance behind me when we were both accelerating past 140 and a Laguna changed two lanes to suprise me, they thought I was a gonna and I soiled, but the brakes did an excellent job, smoothly cutting me down to the 70 mph of the muppet!

Remember an F1 is VERY weak on torque. The phoenix will be pushing just over 850lb/ft in a car weighing in at around 1200kg. If you get a good drag co-ef into the equation - you're talking spectacular times!
It takes a McLaren F1 around 12.8 seconds to get to 150. We're talking around 479lb/ft of torque and 627bhp, and a curb weight of 1150kg.
Do the maths...
Edited to say: Also dont forget, the 6 speed drivetrain is technically capable of pushing her to 269mph! but realistically thats not feasible unless I hire F1 to re-design the whole body in a wind tunnel!
