As per the title, I am looking to swap out a weak door solenoid for a new one but have no real idea how to get in at the things?? Im hoping for a few directions on where to start if possible??

Was it one of the Tims that recently did this?

Cheers all

Not sure what you mean by door solenoid but to get to the inside of the door you need to remove the door card - this can be done by removing the half dozen (or there about) allen head screws that are on the inside edge of the door - as you remove the door card remember to disconnect the cable at the bottom front

Cheers. Already got door cards open for different job.

Door solenoids are what open the doors when you press the button. They actually live inside the frame of the door on the car side. They require panels removing from the car itself to get at them, just not sure how these come off?
