I'm still working through all the problems on my latest cerbera.
However one thing is puzzling. The turning circle on this one is shocking.
So bad in fact that I can't even turn into my drive from the wrong side of the road I have to back up and have 2 goes at it.
My previous one was never this bad and that had spiders on what's going on?

How on earth do you turn left at junctions, not that I have a TVR, just interested. Did have a drive in the Cerbera when it first came out, nice but I like a bit of comfort.However one thing is puzzling. The turning circle on this one is shocking.

I need to check mine out too.
I had an A-H Sprite with wide tyres and as Peter says it's about anticipation. However I do wonder if my Cerbera could be better. It's runnning RL7's.
If someone parks on the opposite side from my driveway, that's me either stuck in or out! Just about to widen the driveway to ease this inconvenience.... That never end list of tasks...

Edited to say that the standard tiv PS rack had just as good a turning circle.
As above look for the plastic stop locks. Generally these are needed to stop spiders rubbing. Sometimes it will take more than one per side. You may be able to remove them but beware you don't want to start wearing away your alloy wheels.

I was looking for threads on tyres & found this so though I'd chip in late.
When we got the spiders from the factory back in the early 2000s they came with the rack spacers, I fitted them & the lock was terrible. So I took them off again & it was fine without them. It's quite possible there are some Cerbs running them unnecessarily.
When I had a pit I checked the clearance of the back of the rim / tyre to the suspension wishbone on full lock, one side was quite close, very tight to get a finger in the gap the other was much larger though. So thought I'll just take the rack stop out when I have a time.
Much time passed with engine woes but now it's running & I've no longer got a pit I noticed the rack as very easily accessible from the top without the front lower (F1?) panel in & it's actually much easier to see the clearance between the rims & wishbones from the top too. So from the top I pulled back the boot only to be reminded I'd taken those spacers off years ago. So I got the dremel out & cut down the standard spacer. It now has slightly more lock on that side & still clears the wish bones. It's still has a crap turning circle, but at least it's as good as it can be now. Before one way was so bad I couldn't get into the petrol pumps.
Not to say all Cerbs are the same (far from it!) but it's worth checking the clearance of the rims against the wishbones on full lock.

Cerbs not all the same hits the nail on the head. I had spiders from factory running Tuscan offsets turning wasn't the best but by no means very different from normal (in TVR terms)... What's very strange about this was when changing to SP12s (better looking wheels for me IMO) I asked the guys at central to see if they needed lock stops too or could they go straight on.
I was then suprised to hear that even with the spiders on, my cerbera never had lock stops however they said the rack seemed slightly longer to accommodate for the 18" spiders etc???
The SP12s went on and everything is brilliant! Anyone else using the longer rack and no lock stops scenario?
