Get hold of James @ www.Jamesagger.com and let him know what you are after.
Have a look on www.autotrader.co.uk too to see if anyone has the colours you are after but be extremely careful as some dodgey ones are up for sale.
Also the official TVR site has a section with used cars (all models) with links to all the official dealers. www.tvr.co.uk/usedcars/index.htm
However, there are a load on here too at PH Cerbera Sales
Good luck with it.

In fact, they have a 2001 4.5 LW sunset yellow pearl in stock too. No pics up though but have a look at the official TVR used car link and it's on there.

You dont need a dealer for warranty ie indepedant dealers offer warranties and you buy one yourself if private.
Buy the best car you can rather than just through a dealer (IMHO).
Fernies will find the car for you and take the M3 in part ex. If you are in South London you ought to blast down and see them. You can also take in Racing Green and the other indie who I forget! and take in Andy at APM (weekdays) who can look after it for you!!

i thought id go to fernhurst or james agger
as they seam to have good deals and warranty.
im in south london and was planning on going to have a look there today but got up late. lol
a 4.2 will be the best option for me but have always wanted a 4.5
i guess ill just have to drive them both and see what feels best.
will a 1998 model be reliable enough? i was thinking of trying to get the newer shape as hopefully it would have less problems.

Good luck with the search. A late 98 model should be reliable enough - apparently the Cerbs became pretty much sorted in that year. And anyway, had there been any niggles, it would have had them all sorted by now. I got a 98 4.5, in yellow (the best colour by far
) , and other than a recent bit of bad luck revolving around clutches, she has been as reliable as any other out there.

i spoke to fernhurst today and was told the only difference between a 4.5 and a 4.2 is a small amount of power is this correct?
i thought the 4.5 had better suspension, brakes, and other bits.
if they dont i will buy a later 4.2 and get a red rose conversion a bit later on.

It may be faster, it may be slower. All in the luck of the draw.

It should have better brakes, I believe. But you could always retro-fit these if you find the 4.2's inadequate (unless you take your track days seriously, I wouldn't be too worried, anyway).
If you like Paradise Purple, you might want to consider Cascade Purple and Rolex Blue, too.
stu21t, have you found a car yet, if you are intrested mine could now be up for sale due to change in circumstances at work, I know you wanted a 4.5 and mine is a speed six but it is in pearlescent purple paradise. It also had lots of work done to it.If you are intrested please e-mail me through my profile.
