Coming on Cam + Clutch + Boot

I found out tonight what all the fuss was about, all of a sudden enough power to tear down a building comes screaming into life! 
And you really do seem to reach the NSL just as the AJP is getting into the swing of things! If only we had our own autobhan(sp) here in the UK
New clutch on order, should have it within a week(ish). But, its getting harder to put the car into gear. Cant get it into first occasionally when the car is stationary, same goes for reverse. Should I be using the car as little as possible till the new clutch is fitted? I do have cover is she breaks down, but I hear when a clutch goes, its not so much progressive VS its there one minute, gone the next, is this the case??
Finally, the boot seems to open of its own accord, between most journeys. Stays shut but unlocks itself. Anyone else had this problem?
I am enjoying the car massively though, with or without warranty nothing could put me off
But I do hope the car beds in over time, I understand they usually do.
edited to say: Dream machines dianosed as almost certainly the wotsit fingers, hence new clutch on order, slave/master ok.

My clutch started feeling strange (see previous posts) then went all of a sudden 1 mile from Offords
Mine destroyed the fingers all snapped off and was diagnosed as a sticking / stuck release bearing and slave cylinder...
If you use her be v carefull is all I can say!
Re boot lid ... mines ok touch wood but I have read on here of others with same problem ...

This could be the microswitch behind the badge. The badge itself can be adjusted as to how close the contact is between itself and the microswitch, and it could be that it is too 'sensitive', and therefore opens itself...could be simple as a bump in the road to be enough to trigger it off...

In the meantime I wouldnt use her too much till the clutch comes, I bet the linkage is taking a beating from mighty rob!
Can one induce wear to non-clutch parts, when driving with a clutch which needs replacing? ...Mighty indeed

They mentioned the fingers as a likely suspect, how many miles did you cover after trouble started, before you lost the clutch completely?
Mine was virtually straight away. It was left overnight.
When my clutches have gone, they have been fine one minute and then gone the next, with absolutely no prior warning! Unexplainable to me really, but there you go! I know it will be difficult, but i would'nt use her much until that new clutch is in place. Knowing cerbies, it will get you at the most embarrassing moment - driving out of a pub in front of a crowd, in Tescos, or at the petrol station!

my boot used to open of its own accord (maybe its a thing with yellow Cerbs because they go so fast and need extra downforce ). It turned out the latch mechanism had come loose from the fibregalss body and so just needed to be 'glued' back into place. But in your case it might be the solenoid.

When the slave cylinder seals went on the clutch in my Tuscan, it went from completely fine to impossible to pull out of gear in the space of one gear change. 0.5 of a second.
My bets on next things to go wrong over next 2 yrs:-
Boot will flood when car is out in rain.
Starter will go,
Battery will drain.
Starter will go.
Throttle pots out of balance.
Lambada sensor goes.
Big fuse goes
Exhaust pipe falls off on right handside
Bonnet pops open at 120mph
Windows wont close
Boot wont open
starter will go.
Doors wont open
Winscreen wipers wont stop in right place
Steering wheel function buttons stop working
Oil pressure relief spring
Engine blows up. But is just top end but not the heads.
But I dont think the diff or gear box will be an issue.
