Having a bit of nightmare trying to start my Cerbera after putting it back together.. I'm no expert when it comes to fuel injection!!
It ran fine and started with little effort before, now It's just turning over. I've checked it's got a spark from both coil packs, new plugs and leads, everything connected right, all injectors working, crank position sensor seems to work, fuel pump good and plenty of fuel when it cranks.. But it will not fire, no back fires like timing out just turning over and not even trying... The odd bank creates smoke out of the air box after trying but the even doesn't. Run out of ideas, can anyone help??

My engine will turn over quite happily when the battery is slightly low, but it won't fire. Presumably because the voltage is too low for the injectors to open. However you said plenty of fuel when it cranks, so that probably doesn't help you.

Yes plenty of fuel, I've no software for the laptop but I'll try and sort some out and make a lead. Or maybe just admit defeat and take it somewhere!?

If everything was running well before the plug and lead change I would double check the leads and coil pack connections are correct. Not much else to disturb whilst doing the change but double check the connections again and look for broken wire/connectors.

Cheers guys, the battery is also new and charged. The engine ran before I took it out to strip and re-paint the chassis/suspension, I had the sump, front cover and rocker covers off as I fitted a rebuilt oil/water pump. I'll sort the diagnostics out but my ECU plug is a two pin as per my sp6 and the leads all seem to mention 3 pin am I missing something??

My as one side seems to be firing and the other isn't I'm starting to wonder if the timing has jumped a tooth on the even cam sprocket as I did I did turn the engine with the chain tensioner off when undoing the flywheel.. Seem unlikely but not impossible, and it could explain what's happening??
