I have a standard exhaust system (with CAT) on my 4.5 Cerbra. What would be advisable to fit to increase the quality of sound and possibly sport a few flames????? And where do you stand with CAT removal?

Highly recommend Hayward and Scott. Mine sounds gorgeous now

IMO i wouldn't bother with cat removal - just too much hassle when it comes to MOT time (you will need to reinstall it to pass emissions testing).

Any chance of more details on your sport pipes? Mine are 4 years old now and will soon need replacing as starting to rust badly, so looking at all the options. Do you have any pics or sound recordings?

TIA,

p.s. sorry for hi-jacking the thread!

No performance gains from either i understand, but after decatting mine, i felt throttle was a bit more responsive.

I have decat pipes and standard exhaust, and mine sounds and pops and bangs a plenty, and spits flames..

There is a pic of the pipes on my profile. Not the best pic, but trust me, it looks good - full lightweight stainless system. Couldn't believe how heavy the original system was when it came off, it looked like a heap of junk!

No sound clips as yet, but it sounds much deeper and louder, bit like an Aston IMHO

I've just brought a pair of Flowmaster 40 series silencers back from the US to fit to mine. I need to find somewhere near Reading that can custom make stainless exhaust systems - any suggestions?

Did you have the complete exhaust changed, or just the silencers? How much did it cost? (email me offline if you prefer).
