It looks like i will be tackling the Donington Park RMA track day this Sunday with my recently de-catted Cerb, ( de-catted due to health reasons, car's not mine! ).Problem is, i've got sports pipes on it anyway!
Has anyone tried a track day with this combo, am i likely to be laughed off the circuit, or if i subtely back off near the noise meter do you think i may survive. I will be borrowing some bolt on traps just in case ( cheers Joolz ). Any opinions/advice gratefully received

It will be WAY too loud for Donno.

I looked at going there last year with the brother in law.

Yeah, forget it

Even with the standard back box, I reckon you're in trouble with the decat - they have a couple of drive-by mike you can be "sensitive" to, but only if you're close.

If it's a "noisy" Donny day, that's 105, and you might manage if you stick the standard back box sharpish, short shift &take it easy under the pit gantry (coming on to main straight) and around the bottom bridge (after old hairpin). Allegedly.

I might just give it a go then, i've noticed some very loud machinery there in the past, even when the sound man's in attendance ( & we all know thats not all the time! )

Sadly I also know several people who got black flagged - including me!
