Got my "new" 4.5 RR on Friday and finally had a chance to have a blast this evening .
What a car !! The condition is absolutely startling. And boy is it quick, noticeably faster than my outgoing 4.5 and it was no bad car by any means.

expensive ? yes,.... worth it ?, every penny. Love it.

Sandy.

What a fantastic example, well done.

What's the difference between a 4.5 and a 4.5 Red Rose?

Superb... Glad to see you got it in the best colour too!! Only let down is the spiders ;P a set of SP12s in that colour would be WORLDS GREATEST!.. (Joint)

Still Im threatening a Power 4.5SS Rebuild to punch you AJP lads but word is there is a 4.7 on its way so I may have to go after the new 4.5Cosworth scalp.

Once again. Lovely RR mate!

Beautiful car mate thumbup
Also be interested to know how a seat of the pants feel with a RR would be so much better than stock.
You must be chuffed.

Its hard to quantify without rolling road figures i guess. Just a quick 30 mile blast on roads i always travel and know well tells me all i need to know......
Oh and it is really quite quiet too as its on all bog standard exhaust stuff.

Personally, I am not so sure about the SP12's. I was one of the first to try them when first released in 2006 (on my Tam). They are nice (and lighter), but if you look at most kit cars, this style seems to be the wheel of choice, you see them everywhere! (albeit with TD deeply stamped into the rims). I did mention this in my review of them back in the day.

The Spider alloys are rarer, as they were unique to TVR's.

OP - Very nice Cebera, by the way!

Not sure. I went up 40bhp, but I don't think it was noticeable. I mean, it's a 'kin fast car anyway under acceleration and when your missus is screaming at you to slow down...

On mine what was noticeable from the mapping was the driveability, the extra power was a bonus, but I cant honestly say it made an impression over and above the usual grin factor 9.

Sandy - Car looks gorgeous. Congrats!

Just back from a week of isolation from 3G in Elie, so catching up...
Need to get a Glasgow/West gathering for a run out sometime.

Cheers,
Brian

I think I would be disappointed if I didn't notice 10% extra power! That is a significant jump.. Part of the issue might have been the making it more driveable, making the power less noticeable I guess..

My missus just laughs when I give it some beans.. If it manages to disturb her from her phone..

Wish my Mrs laughed when I give mine the beans, she just screams and shouts at me to slow down! hehe
