I have urgent need of help.

Just got back from a shopping trip, car opened okay but drivers window didn't go down when I opened the door and interior lights stayed on all the way home.

Now none of the windows work and neither do the doors. Had to get out using the pull levers. I've got into the boot and disconnected and reconnected the door and window box on top of the tank, and checked all the fuses, but still no luck.

The car is curently sitting on my drive with the windows up and the drivers door and boot open. What do I check next?

I can put the car away in the garage, but will have to leave a door open to get in to move it - which will result in a flat battery I'm sure even if I turn off the interior lights.

Help!

Do the windows work from the inner buttons, I assume not from your post.

I would try what pablo said and then go have a long cup of tea before reconnecting and trying again.

Thanks Kojak, I saw that thread which may be connected somehow, but nothing works, I am guessing the controller box is fried.

No door solenoids, no windows, no boot. There's power to the control box, but that's about as far as my techie knowledge goes!

Think it'll be a call to Peninsula on Monday and avail myself of the warranty.

The sensor in the bottom of the door is buggered. First thing to do is to clean the magnet in the sill, if that doesn't work then you'll probably have to open up the door and check the sensor.

nope, it should be pretty obvious, it's an inch round metal piece on the side of the sill.

You can see the proximity switch at the bottom of the door (which goes up to the magnet) on the photo from my previous input above.

Cheers for that, I will have a look when I get home. If that does'nt get it going I will have to try and take the door apart

have a similar problem at the moment.

I can’t put the passenger window up or down, it’s not even working when you open the door either.

I have tested the window motor and all is ok I have also changed the window control box and all the connectors in the door and still no joy.

The interior light goes out when the door is closed, so cant be the sensor at the bottom of the door can it?

Dont get worried about the door...its only the panel we.re talking about. Its about 8 or so allen screws. Thats it. You'll see 2 connectors. The main one (5 or 6 pins in it) and another above the proximity switch that on the bottom of the door.

Try the connector as mentioned above.

If the stupidly overcomplicated magnetic jobie is duff, retro fit a normal plunger type switch. These were fitted as standard on the first Cerbs. Did mine and had no further probs till it got written off
