Morning all,

1997 Cerbera 4.5 was 4.2

I'm about to drop the oil on my Cerb because I have noticed the feed from the sump to the filter has more holes than a colander. I spoke with RG and they said they don't stock this item anymore. Luckily for me I can make this hose up at work. While I'm at it I'm wondering if its worth making a batch of these up.

Does anyone else need one?

The only comment I'd make there is my early 4.2's one doesn't look like that..

That is definitely unconventional routing. On my car there is a hard line that goes across the front of the engine, coupled to a hose that connects to the oil cooler - that I believe is the return line to the pump.

Perhaps the hard line is NLA, which is why your car has ended up with the flexi hose.

I have seen 2 other Cerbs with this same setup. I wonder if its an early design.

Mine has a similar hose, but the end (on the left) is very very different. (Iirc) will try and take a pic over the weekend.

Early cars were definitely different, but the OP's car is not that early, and doesn't have dual sump plugs.
