Brakes.........AND Suspension - remap out....boo!

Brakes had the judder problem...which was frankly dangerous when braking from high speeds. So went the AP route 330mm grooved - and dont they just look the danglies!
Oh but not as simple - on the ramps Joolz noticed that 2 shockers were buggered - one entirely and a spring collapsed...so we went for a full overhaul.

Joospeed package installed.

Thanks to Joolz for a mega quick turn around....not had chance to test the car in anger yet...still being gentle with the brakes. Never reached the limits with the standard shocks so maybe wont notice the difference as much as i should... we will have fun trying though.

Only downside is that the remap will really have to wait a while.... unless i sell the spiders and go back to my original 17's....no no! it can wait

Hi Steve. I can't remember if I showed you the old dampers .. they're still on my workshop floor if you wanna see them before i throw them in the bin .. not pretty

No not seen them... wouldnt mind though...just out of interest of course!

Trying to drive it..been busy and working till Monday am!

did here a big clunk today when going over a speed bump..probably just the sussys settling in???

Felt it hit the bump stops(if it has them) as well on the front...wasnt doing anything different to normal.

Maybe need stiffening u a touch - like i said though not really driven it enough yet to see how it really feels.
